The Pinta Art Fair is the Modern and Contemporary Latin American Art Show taking place in Manhattan, New York every year, the exhibits are running until Sunday November 18, 2012 in New York, but if you miss it I guess you can still catch the one in London...

This work immediately caught my eye, the tones, the neutral undefined colors, like a greige color and the subtle relief of the shapes...I guess I was so excited to be part of this internationally acclaimed and world renown event that I forgot to get the name of the artist...and I apologize for that...
Francisco Farreras
Spanish Artist
I am so happy to have discovered this artist, this is one of his works that in my opinion reflects faithfully the rest of his art through the colors, forms and medium...I immediately checked out his site www.franciscofarreras.com to see the rest of his collection and loved every single piece...
Andres Monteagudo
"Retrocesos" 2012
Spanish Artist
The above piece is the result of another great discovery...as soon as I have a client with a modern taste who hires me as his interior designer, I will offer to use one of Andres Montegudo's work of art in the project...it's sleek, simple but complex at the same time, modern but timeless...would look great on a darker wall...
Jesus Rafael Soto
Venezuelan Artist
I have been a big fan of Jesus Rafael Soto since I was approximately 10 years old when I still lived in Venezuela...I guess I feel close to this artist because I am also Venezuelan...his work was exhibited all around town in Caracas, the one I remember the most being a very large sculpture located in the brand new (at the time) main subway station in the center of Caracas but his work could also be found displayed to the public in others cultural landmarks like Concert Halls and Museums...Please take a moment to admire his work on his site www.jr-soto.com, just amazing!
After more than an hour of intense inspiration, I decided to make a pit stop at Novecento, Argentinian Bistro that had a stand inside the art fair and enjoyed a relaxing moment at the lounge eating my argentinian empanadas...
To conclude my visit, I will say that if I could afford the above collection of art, I will undoubtedly have each one of these pieces in my own house....
